Loss Adjuster - Property

Eames is working closely with a well-regarded insurer on the appointment of a Loss Adjuster, who will be responsible for investigating commercial Property Damage Claims from first notification through to settlement.

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for managing commercial claim visits and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service, overseeing the claims process from first notification through to settlement.

·This individual will conduct the initial assessment call for all assigned claims, gathering initial information to evaluate the potential loss. Then, exploring recovery options, and determining reserving requirements.

·Responsible for handling a varied portfolio of commercial property claims, ranging from Retail to Industrial properties, up to a value of £100,000.

·The position is fully remote, but will involve direct interaction with customers and third parties, as well as regular collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements

·A solid understanding of commercial property insurance and strong communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities are all essential for this role

·Previous experience in a Claims Handling or Loss Adjusting position is essential
