This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who enjoys working with Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, supporting their early development and making a positive difference to their education and training.

Position: Lower Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that works for you

About the Role

As a Lower Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons to pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, helping them build confidence in reading, writing, phonics and maths. You will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment, adapting your teaching to suit different abilities and encouraging pupils to develop a love of learning. Opportunities may be available across a variety of Doncaster primary schools, allowing you to gain experience in different education and training settings.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Supporting early reading, phonics, writing and numeracy development
Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning habits
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needsCandidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching in a primary school, ideally within Year 1 or Year 2
Good knowledge of the Lower Key Stage 1 curriculum
Confident classroom management and communication skills
