Are you a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive school environment?

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic LSA to join our dedicated SEND team within a thriving secondary school in Hounslow. This is an exciting chance to play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), fostering their academic progress, confidence and social development.

About the Role (Full-Time):

• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENDCO to develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with SEND.


• Providing tailored support to students in mainstream lessons or withdrawal settings, catering to a range of learning needs.


• Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.


• Contributing to the creation of a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student well-being and self-esteem.


• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of student progress and interventions.


• Liaising with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified LSA or relevant experience working with students with SEND.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students of all ages and abilities.


• A strong sense of empathy and a passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential.


• Patience, flexibility and a willingness to adapt to meet the individual needs of each student.


• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.


• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students.
