Job Description - LSE Crack the Brief Workshop

Are you ready to put your commercial thinking and business acumen to the test? AlphaSights invites LSE students to an exclusive 'Crack the Brief' Workshop. As an Associate at AlphaSights, no two client briefs are ever the same. One day you might be researching wind farms in Korea; the next, exploring dairy-free ice cream brands in the U.S. A core skill you’ll build here is learning how to break down any brief - no matter the subject. In this workshop, we’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at the process that makes this possible

Date: Tuesday, 18th November

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM BST

Location: AlphaSights London Office

What to Expect:

This hands-on session will challenge you to think like an Associate, working through a client brief in teams to break down the commercial value chain and identify key experts to solve strategic business challenges. You will present your findings to one of our senior leaders, receiving personalised feedback and guidance.

What You’ll Gain from This Workshop:

Commercial Thinking - Learn how to break down complex client problems and analyse a business's value chain

Problem-Solving - Tackle real-world business scenarios using structured, logical thinking and practical frameworks.

Business acumen - Identify and assess relevant industry experts, competitors, and market dynamics to inform recommendations.

How to Apply:

Due to a limited number of spaces, we kindly ask you to sign up by 5 pm on Wednesday 5th of November 2025.

Language Skills: Ideal candidates are fluent in both English and a European language (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Swedish, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian).

Please note: This event is limited to 20 carefully selected students. Successful applicants will receive their official invitations with event details by email on Thursday, 6th November 2025.
