Luggage Porter (5 Star Hotel)

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assisting with luggage handling and transportation to their designated rooms.

Ensure accurate tagging and recording of luggage, maintaining proper security and confidentiality.

Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel amenities and services along the way.

Offer assistance with unpacking and arranging guests' belongings, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Provide thorough explanations of room features and technology, offering assistance with any inquiries or issues.

Coordinate and deliver guests' luggage to and from their rooms promptly and safely.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in luggage storage areas, ensuring proper organization and security.

Collaborate closely with the front desk and concierge team to ensure smooth check -in and check -out processes.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, offering personalized recommendations and assistance.

Maintain a professional and polished appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming and uniform standards.

Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Luggage Porter or similar role in a luxury hotel or high -end hospitality establishment is preferred.

Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests from various backgrounds effectively.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy luggage and navigate through the hotel premises.

Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate handling and tracking of luggage.

Professional demeanor and appearance, reflecting the standards of a 5 -star hotel.

Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast -paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Familiarity with local attractions and amenities to provide recommendations to guests.
