We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Lunchtime Activity Club Leaders to join our team within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. You'll lead fun, inclusive lunchtime clubs that encourage pupils to socialise, develop new skills and enjoy positive, engaging experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
We are recruiting leaders for the following clubs:
* Sports Club – Football, basketball, multi-skills, team games and physical activities.
* Music & Dance Club – Singing, dancing, movement, rhythm and musical games.
* Board Games Club – Strategy games, puzzles, card games and interactive group activities.
* Arts & Crafts Club – Painting, drawing, seasonal crafts, model making and creative projects.
* Film Club – Enjoying age-appropriate films with themed discussions and activities.
* Messy Play Club – Sand play, water play, sensory activities and creative exploration.
About the Role
Working during lunchtime, you'll plan and deliver enjoyable activities that are accessible to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and communication needs. You'll help create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged and supported to participate at their own pace.
Responsibilities
* Lead engaging lunchtime activity sessions.
* Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
* Encourage teamwork, communication and confidence.
* Promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
* Ensure a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.
* Work closely with school staff to support pupils throughout the lunchtime period.
We're Looking For
* Enthusiastic, reliable and positive individuals.
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs is an advantage but not essential.
* A background or interest in one or more of the advertised activity areas.
