The successful M365 Engineer will play a key role in migrating users, services and workloads into a new, empty Microsoft 365 tenant, working across a hybrid environment. Hands-on Quest migration experience is mandatory, alongside strong Active Directory and M365 tenant migration experience. This is an ASAP requirement, so candidates who are immediately available or can start at short notice are highly desirable. Required Skills & Experience: Proven hands-on experience delivering M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, with previous experience migrating into a new/empty ( greenfield) tenant . Mandatory hands-on Quest migration experience — candidates must have used Quest migration tooling on previous migration projects. Strong Active Directory and hybrid environment experience, including identity, synchronisation and migration activities. Strong understanding of M36 5 architecture, security, governance and compliance, with experience implementing best-practice solutions. Proven experience supporting M365 migrations following a company merger, acquisition or consolidation. Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside internal teams and MSPs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute the M365 tenant-to-tenan t migration, moving users, data, identities and services into the new/empty tenant. Utilise Quest migration tooling as a key part of the migration and transition process. Support the migration across the hybrid Active Directory/M365 environment, troubleshooting identity and synchronisation issues. Design and implement the new M365 tenant architecture , ensuring the environment is secure, scalable and aligned with best practice. Establish and maintain appropriate security, governance and compliance standards within the new M365 environment. Work closely with internal stakeholders, MSPs and technical teams, providing hands-on technical guidance, documentation and support throughout the migration.
