As our M&A Finance Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our company's M&A transactions from IOI to post-completion integration. You will collaborate with partners across the business, including Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and Accounting/Controllership, to ensure the financial feasibility and alignment of our strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities of this role will include:Structuring and negotiating financial terms in IOI/LOI, ensuring alignment with strategic objectivesLeading financial due diligence process, working closely with internal teams and external advisorsReviewing financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisionsCollaborating with legal, finance, and tax teams to review purchase/sale agreementsCalculating net working capital target, considering specific factors impacting target company's requirementsConsolidating financial due diligence report and findingsPreparing and reviewing closing statement summarizing financial aspects of the transactionOverseeing post-closing true-up process to reconcile discrepancies or adjustmentsDeveloping a "playbook" for financial integration, ensuring smooth transition of systems and reportingSupporting the integration of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processesMonitoring and tracking financial performance of acquired company post-closeWho we are looking for: You’ll have proven experience in mergers and acquisitions or corporate development and have a strong understanding of financial concepts and principlesPrevious experience working with legal, tax, and M&A accounting advisory specialists is essentialExperience reviewing purchase agreements is requiredExcel to at least intermediate level is expectedYou’ll hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field – a professional accounting qualification is preferred Additionally, you’ll have…Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrategic thinking - a deep understanding of the business and ability to think through business issuesA detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skillsThe ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, being able to influence and collaborate with colleagues at all levelsA challenger mindset, always seeking to improve and challenge the status quo.About Oliver Wyman: Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting.
