Job Description
An ambitious and innovative M&A boutique is looking for a Financial Modeller to join them in London. They have successfully built a diverse, agile team and they constantly look for ways to challenge traditional M&A.
They're competing with some of the leading names in the market - with success, and have taken an alternative, holistic approach to recruitment resulting in a diverse, inclusive environment with a range of professional backgrounds.
They are a genuine challenger in a busy mid-market with an impressive number of deals under their belt and an attractive on-going pipeline. They are a business with a purpose, focusing on social impact and they donate a proportion of their profits to charity.
As a a Financial Modeller you will:
Build robust financial models for transaction related projects, working closely with the M&A team to enable them to create databooks for buyer due diligence processes
Review and update models / scenario modelling for PE clients
Liaise directly with clients and PE houses, building relationships and developing trust
Be able to actively participate and contribute in client meetings and pitches, using your knowledge to bring others on the journey with you
Play a key part in the development of the firm's financial modelling service line
Your experience:
Qualified Accountant
Currently working in a Big 4/Top 10 financial modelling team, with extensive experience in transaction related modelling
Currently operating at an experienced Manager, Senior Manager or Assistant Director level
This role is for you if you're working in a financial modelling team churning out numerous models, but want to get more visibility over the M&A process.
You will be joining a supportive and entrepreneurial team where the term "flat structure" is not just lip-service.
Working in a smaller team, you will be able to work autonomously whilst also being able to collaborate effectively. You will be able to use your initiative and commercial acumen to bring your ideas to the table where every voice is heard.
Providing you have the appetite to learn, tenacity and a keen eye for detail, you’ll be supported by a wonderful team with the opportunity to progress more quickly than you would within the larger firms.
