Location: Ashford
Pay: £12.71 per hour, weekly pay
Hours: Monday to Friday - Early & Late Shifts, between 05:45 and 21:30
Contract: Temporary initially, prospect of becoming permanent for the right person
Start: Immediate
Pay: Weekly

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Assistant to join a busy packaging solutions company based in Ashford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a team.

You will support the smooth running of machinery within the Bindery department, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Operating machinery safely and efficiently
Checking product quality throughout the production process
Following production plans and meeting tight deadlines

The successful candidate will have:

Previous machine operating experience - essential
Good attention to detail
A high-quality standard in both thinking and working
The ability to follow a plan and work to tight deadlines
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Good teamwork skills
Good communication skills
A good standard of written and spoken English
