Superb new permanent opportunities now exist for this long established manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the East Midlands.

This respected and very stable company seek to appoint competent and skilled site based mechanical fitters and machine builders, ideally with some experience or an interest in pursuing or furthering a career within special purpose machinery assembly / machine building.

Based in the Nottinghamshire area, considered applicants can easily commute from Derbyshire and some surrounding areas.

Being a capable fitter, bringing care and attention to detail reading from engineering and assembly drawings, you'll ideally have your own set of tools with some shared equipment provided as expected.

Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems is highly called for. Any basic electrical skills are a bonus, but not entirely essential and by no means a deal breaker.

Being in a site based, busy and friendly environment, you'll enjoy flexing your craft as an Engineer working on some machinery returned for servicing or reconditioning, however in the main, your main focus will be building brand new machines for the UK market and beyond.

Those from the heavier side of engineering are of particular interest i.e quarry machinery, crushers, heavy plant, conveyors and any ex military engineers are also of interest.

Realistic earnings are £40K+ with pay reviews regularly
