We're recruiting Machine Operatives to join a busy and well-established based in Chesterfield (S44). This is an ongoing temporary position offering consistent Monday to Friday hours with an immediate start available.

The Role

As a Machine Operative, you'll play an important part in the production process, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

Operating cable winding machinery safely and efficiently
Feeding cable onto coils and drums
Measuring and cutting cable to customer specifications
Ensuring all orders are completed accurately
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For

Previous experience operating machinery or working within a manufacturing environment
Comfortable working with measurements and following detailed instructions
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
Keen to learn and work as part of a team
Working Hours

Monday to Friday
08:00am – 5:00pm

Pay

£12.80 per hour
