Shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 / 22:00 – 06:00

Pay Rate:

£13.00 per hour (days & afternoons)
£13.50 per hour (nights)
PLUS WEEKLY BONUSES 

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-focused Machine Operator to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. This is a key role within a busy production environment where machine uptime, quality standards, and attention to detail are essential.

We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, good problem-solving ability, and the intelligence to understand and maintain smooth machine operation without constant supervision. Candidates should take pride in their work and be confident in keeping production running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure machines are continuously supplied with required materials
Monitor machine performance to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation
Identify and resolve minor issues such as blockages or stoppages
Ensure correct separation of materials and prevent line mix-ups
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
Report faults, breakdowns, or concerns promptly and accurately
Support overall site housekeeping and production efficiency standards

Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Proactive mindset with the ability to think ahead and act independently
