Production Machine Operator

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with manufacturer in Brigg, North Lincolnshire to recruit a Production Machine Operator.

Pay: £13.50ph

Shifts: 4 on/4 off (2 days - 6Am-6PM following by 2 nights - 6PM -6AM).

Average working hours 42pw

Key Responsibilities of the Production Machine Operator. will include:

• Operate and maintain production machinery
• Monitor machine performance
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance
• Deliver Film to production areas as required; ·
• Return all film to stock
• Select materials and operating supplies in accordance with job specification
• Carry out job set-up in a safe and efficient manner - following warm-up and set-up procedures
• Carry out process inspection checks to ensure product meets specifications informing results to Team Leaders
• Monitor machine controls hourly to ensure product quality and safe operation. Problem solve where necessary
• Unload and record product
• Palletise product in accordance with internal requirements
• Weigh and record reels.
• Accurately complete production report in MII system to ensure correct time recording and product identification
• Other duties commensurate with the level of position
• Carry out duties in other departments as and if required.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in operating production machinery.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
