Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Pay: £13.11 per hour (Training Rate)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 6:00pm | Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Extrusion Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate extrusion machinery to manufacture a range of profiles, including bars, tubing and structural shapes.

Select and install dies, mandrels, calibrators, extrusion heads and haul-offs to suit production requirements.

Ensure hoppers are supplied with the correct raw materials throughout production.

Complete all production and quality records accurately.

Carry out dimensional and surface finish checks to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

Remove finished products from the production line and pack them to the required standard.

Perform basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication, to keep machinery operating efficiently.

Maintain high standards of health and safety and housekeeping within the production area.

What We're Looking For:
Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Good attention to detail and quality standards.

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable with a strong work ethic.
