Job Summary Machine Operator 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the manufacture of high-quality products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced equipment and develop your skills in mechanical fabrication, materials handling, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Operate various manufacturing machines in line with production requirements
Set up machines accurately according to specifications
Monitor machine operations continuously, making timely adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly
Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse
Maintain precise records of production activities, inspections, and maintenance logs to comply with safety and quality standards
Essential Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating manufacturing machinery
Proficient in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic mathematical calculations for accurate measurements
Understanding of safe materials handling procedures within a warehouse environment
Ability to operate tooling equipment safely while following established health and safety protocols
Experience with Zund and Kunsberg machines is advantageous

Salary and Shifts

Salary up to £38,000 per annum, with shift patterns including 6:00am–2:00pm, 2:00pm–10:00pm, and night shifts
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
