Machine Operator

Pay Rate: £13.76 per hour, increasing to £14.32 per hour upon successful completion of training.

Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and career progression? We are currently recruiting for a Press Setter / Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating press machinery safely and efficiently.

* Loading and unloading materials.

* Monitoring machine performance and carrying out quality checks.

* Following production schedules and health & safety procedures.

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

* Assisting with general production duties as required.

Requirements:

* Previous machine operating experience is essential.

* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.

* Physically fit and capable of:

* Heavy lifting.

* Standing for prolonged periods.

* Working in a fast-paced production environment.

* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.

* Flexible to work rotating shifts.

Shift Pattern:

Rotating weekly shifts:

* 6:00am - 2:00pm

* 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Early finishes every Friday:

* Morning shift: 6:00am - 11:00am

* Afternoon shift: 11:00am - 4:00pm
