Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators / Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse in the Eastleigh area of Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

You will work a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern, working from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The role includes weekend working and 12-hour shifts, with regular breaks provided.

The Role

Your role will be a combination of machine operation and warehouse duties, including:

Operating high-speed packing machinery for cosmetic products
Monitoring machinery to ensure it is operating at optimum levels
Helping to prevent machine downtime and keeping production running efficiently
Picking and packing cosmetic products
Moving trolleys and products around the warehouse
Completing computer and system entry
Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products are packed correctly
Following health & safety and company procedures
Keeping your work area clean and organised
You will receive full training on the machinery and warehouse processes. You will also be partnered with an experienced and fully trained member of the team who will support you while you learn the role and become confident operating the machinery.

Have good communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Physically able to move trolleys and spend periods standing and sitting
Comfortable using computers for basic data entry
Keen to learn new skills and develop within the role
Previous machine operating or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

£14.32 per hour
Paid weekly
4 days on / 4 days off
Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm
