Machine Operator (Finishing)

Machine Operator (Finishing) required to work in Sheffield.

Job Purpose:

• To ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Finishing Machines.
• Reduction of machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns.
• Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets.
• Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis.

General:

• To comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times.
• To comply with all Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures adopted by the Company at all times.
• To pro-actively participate in the development, operation and improvement of the Company’s Management Systems in relation to our external accreditations and legal obligations, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health and Safety.

Skills required:

• 2yrs+ Machine Operator experience.
• Manual Handling from lifting/stacking of paper in accordance with HSE guidelines.
• Good eyesight for detail.
• Must be flexible with working Hours. Overtime, weekend work and shift cover.
• Ability to operate other machines/assist if required.
