What We're Looking For:

• Key responsibilities

• Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of the functions and basic mechanical workings of most machines under limited supervision
• Performs appropriate functional quality tests for operations performed on all equipment
• Has a working knowledge of job-related policies and procedures
• Complies with all required safety practices and regulations
• Trains new operators in finishing operations

• Principal accountabilities

• To produce rolls of self-adhesive labels, tickets & tags
• Consistently achieve productivity targets
• Maintain optimum quality at all times
• Complete accurate job records – time recording
• Maintain optimum Health and Safety standards and always keep press and work area clean
• Qualifications
• Good general level education.
• 1 - 3 years of operating label printing conversion equipment
• Experience of operating high speed production machinery
• Experience of working on a production environment to high quality standards and meeting targets and deadlines
• General computer skills and numerical skills
• Ability to use initiative with excellent problem-solving skills
• Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions
