Factory Based. Commutable from Glastonbury, West Pennard, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Frome and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production / warehouse operations and be proficient in the use of various machinery. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand tools, and a solid understanding of materials handling.

Within this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient assembly and operation of machinery within our production environment.

The Role:

* Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
* Assemble components and products according to specifications
* Conduct routine maintenance on machines, including tooling adjustments and lubrication.
* Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
* Perform basic maths calculations to ensure accurate measurements and material usage.
* Troubleshoot issues with machinery, including logic controllers, to minimise downtime.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Person:

* Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment setting & operating production machinery is preferred.
* Proficient in using hand tools and understanding tooling requirements for various tasks.
* Experience with materials handling techniques is beneficial.
* A logical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting is essential for success in this role
