Machine Operator – 4-Day Week | £29,375 + Overtime + Bonus

We’re recruiting a Machine Operator to join a successful global print manufacturing business. Whether you’re already operating machinery or working as a Production Operative looking for the next step, full training is provided.

The Role
You’ll be trained to operate specialist print production equipment, ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will learn to:
* Set up and operate production machinery
* Monitor quality and production output
* Carry out routine machine cleaning and maintenance
* Record production information accurately
* Troubleshoot basic production issues
* Support continuous improvement activities
What We’re Looking For
We’d like to hear from candidates with experience as a:
Machine Operator, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Print Operator, Assembly Operative, or Warehouse Operative (with machine experience).
You’ll need:
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow processes and instructions
* Basic IT/computer skills
* A reliable, team-focused attitude
* Willingness to learn and develop
Hours
37.5 hours per week
Standard shift pattern (after training):
* Monday – Wednesday: 4:00pm – 2:00am
* Thursday: 3:30pm – 1:00am
Training Period (1–3 months):
* Monday – Wednesday: 6:30am – 4:30pm
* Thursday: 6:30am – 4:00pm
Please note: During training, the shift premium is not payable. It is applied once training is completed and you move onto the standard shift pattern.
