Machine Shop Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Machine Shop Manager for their facility in Dudley.

This Machine Shop Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and lead a dynamic production team, ensure efficient production processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Key duties of the Machine Shop Manager include:

• Cultivate a team-first culture that promotes both high morale and exceptional performance.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive training, development, and skills enhancement plan for the team
• Oversee daily production operations
• Develop and implement production schedules and plan
• Monitor production performance and implement improvements

The Machine Shop Manager will have the following skills/experience:

• A strong background working with CNC machine - turning milling etc,
• Previous experience in a Machine Shop Manager role, with a proven track record in people management and process improvement
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
