The Machine Shop Supervisor job in Gloucester is a hands-on leadership role based in Gloucester, responsible for driving daily operations and performance across a busy machine shop. As a Machine Shop Supervisor in Gloucester, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.

Key responsibilities for the Machine Shop Supervisor job in Gloucester include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of operators and setter operators
• Driving daily production output and performance
• Coordinating with production, engineering and quality teams
• Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement
• Ensuring effective use of ERP systems (IFS) and accurate production data

To be considered for this Machine Shop Supervisor opportunity in Gloucester, you will need:

• Significant experience in a manufacturing supervisory role
• Strong understanding of CNC, milling, turning and manual machining
• Ability to read engineering drawings including GD&T
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and KPI reporting

This Machine Shop Supervisor role in Gloucester is initially based on a day shift pattern before moving onto a double day shift after approximately 4 weeks, with shift allowance included.
