Machine Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate machine operators to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment.
• Monitor machines during production runs to identify any issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Train and mentor machine operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance schedules, and production output.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to schedule machine downtime for maintenance and repairs to minimize impact on production.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance machine efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
• Strong technical knowledge of production machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a production setting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
