Machinist

Our client is a well-established precision engineering company, and due to increased workload, they are looking to expand their team with a skilled CNC Turner/Programmer.

?? The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with driven tooling to produce high-precision components to customer specifications and AS9100 quality standards.

??? Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes (experience with MAPPS/CAPS preferred but not essential)
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Use a wide range of measuring equipment to ensure component accuracy
• Create, load, examine, and modify CNC programs as required
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain quality throughout production
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company policies
