This company have been established for nearly a century and are still growing, both their client base and team. They remanufacture engine components for a massive variety of engines and brands, from the likes of classic MG engines to roaring V8s. The team pride themselves on their expert knowledge and skills, alongside their rich history in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of manual machining, ready to put to use in a specialist team to craft engines for the automotive industry. You will be working on new projects every week, so no day will be the same, at the company's workshop in Ongar.

This role would suit any post apprenticeship machinist, looking to start their career in the automotive industry within a well-established automotive remanufacturing company who provide specialist training and a variation in your day-to-day tasks.

The role:

• Operate machinery to tight tolerances
• Undergo training on specific machines to develop skillset
• Be able to measure and calibrate machines to a high degree of accuracy
• Operate a range of machines, such as; a boring bar, honing machine, line-borer, surface grinder, lathe machine, and milling machine
• Be available to work overtime on large projects when needed

The Person:

• Experience using manual machining equipment
• Knowledge of remanufacturing process
• Full UK driving licence
