About the Role:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.


• Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of food, cooking, and practical skills.


• Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques, nutrition, and food safety.


• Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).


• Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events, such as the annual food festival or culinary competitions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject.


• Demonstrates a strong passion for food, cooking, and nutrition, with a captivating teaching style.


• Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
