Location: South East London | Salary: £40,000 + 10% bonus | Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Are you a hands-on maintenance pro looking for a stable role with great pay and benefits? An award-winning property company is seeking a motivated Maintenance & Fabric Operative to keep a busy estate of 250+ apartments in top shape.

What You’ll Do:

* Conduct routine inspections and repairs on doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and floors

* Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies

* Use your skills with wood, metal, plastic, and DIY to keep the property looking great

* Carry out painting, decorating, and safety checks

* Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used

* Work with contractors and offer ideas to improve efficiency

Are You the Right Fit?

* Experience as a handyman or maintenance operative

* Knowledge of safety regulations (COSHH, working at height, risk assessments)

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or similar)

* Good communication and team player attitude
