About the role

Working closely with the Director of Operations, you will coordinate and undertake a wide range of maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects across our sites. You will oversee contractors, manage maintenance programmes, carry out repairs and contribute to the ongoing development of our facilities.

This varied and hands-on role will also involve:

  • delivering refurbishment and improvement projects
  • monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
  • supporting site security arrangements and participating in an emergency call-out rota
  • assisting with adverse weather preparations and site safety

  • maintaining accurate maintenance and project records.

About you

  • can manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • communicates confidently with staff, contractors and external agencies
  • works independently, uses initiative and takes pride in delivering high standards
  • has a strong commitment to health and safety and safeguarding.

A relevant trade qualification, such as carpentry, construction or property maintenance, would be advantageous. Experience within a school or public sector environment is desirable but not essential.

We offer the opportunity to work within a supportive team where your expertise will have a direct impact on the learning environment of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within facilities and premises management.
