Maintenance Assistant

Our client, a prestigious hotel in Windsor, is seeking a maintenance assistant to assist with general maintenance tasks and day to day repairs. The successful candidate will have experience in basic plumbing and electrics as well as painting and decorating.

£25,396.80 per annum

40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7

8am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm

Duties include:

• Reporting and actioning any problems report or faults in a timely manner
• Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and staff accommodation
• Ensuring that all equipment is well maintained and kept in good working order
• Ensuring that company purchasing procedures are followed at all times
• Maintaining a safe and secure working environment in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures
• Ensure adequate maintenance cover is provided at the weekend on a rota basis

Key skills:

• Experience in basic plumbing and electrics, painting and decorating.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Proactive
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and relevant legislation
