Location: Wallasey, Merseyside

Salary: Competitive

Vacancy Type: Permanent, 32 hours per week

Our clients Nursing Home provides 24-hour nursing and personal care.

They are conveniently located in Wallasey, close to New Brighton and Birkenhead and with easy access to the M53 motorway and Liverpool City Centre.

The Role

• Maintain the care home’s buildings, facilities, and grounds to a high standard.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and basic gardening.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the home remains in excellent condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure all work areas and storage spaces are kept neat, tidy, and secure.
• Maintain a log of repairs and equipment issues in line with CQC requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in general property maintenance, e.g., DIY/Plumbing
• Driver’s license and own car (Essential)
