Maintenance Assistant

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

Join a permanent full-time position in Central London, carrying out a variety of property maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general property maintenance including carpentry, tiling, and repairs to doors, windows, and locking systems
• Install and repair guttering and drainpipe systems
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs
• Source and collect materials from local suppliers
• Oversee contractor work when required
• Support colleagues by covering absences and providing on-call assistance
• Follow all company policies and health & safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
• Strong practical skills and good numeracy for measurements and calculations

Desirable Skills:

• Expertise in one or more building trades (carpentry, plastering, tiling)
• Basic understanding of current Building Regulations
