Maintenance Electrician

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on-site
• Conducting electrical repairs and installations, including testing and recording results
• Ensuring compliance with all specifications, schedules, and procedures
• Delivering excellent service and maintaining good client relationships
• Providing emergency call-out support on a rota basis (1 in 4 weeks; no vehicle provided)
• Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations to minimise downtime

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Maintenance or Installation
  (e.g. City & Guilds 2330, 2365, or equivalent)
• Willingness to complete City & Guilds 2382
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• PASMA and IPAF certifications
• Previous experience in a Facilities Management environment
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental practices
• L8 Awareness

Desirable:

• Familiarity with the NICEIC online click system
• City & Guilds 2357 (apprenticeship qualification)
