Shifts: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities team at a prestigious commercial site in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance as part of a skilled on-site engineering team.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be working with a wide range of building services equipment, including lighting, power, distribution boards, emergency systems, and controls. You’ll also collaborate closely with mechanical and HVAC engineers to maintain high standards across all building systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults safely and efficiently.

*

Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations.

*

Support other maintenance staff and contractors in delivering a high-quality service.

*

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, H&S policies, and site procedures.

About You

*

Qualified Maintenance Electrician with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification essential.

*

Proven experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.

*

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on a continental shift rota.

*

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
