Maintenance Electrician - Kettering

Job Title: Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kettering
Salary: £40,000 - £41,000 pa
Hours: Monday - Friday (07:00 am - 03:00 pm or 07:30 am - 03:30 pm)

Package & Benefits

Base Salary: Upto £41,000 pa
Working Hours: Early shift pattern (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri)
Overtime: Available for optional extra earnings
On-Call Rota: Fully optional (opt-in / opt-out friendly for work-life balance)
Call-Out Allowance: £150 per week standby when on rota, 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 week rotation covering the wider Midlands region. Key Responsibilities

Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across regional commercial/industrial sites.
Respond efficiently to emergency reactive requests and electrical breakdowns.
Diagnose faults, troubleshoot complex power supply issues, and carry out remedial repairs.
Complete minor electrical installation projects, including lighting circuits and power distribution adjustments.
Maintain clear logs of maintenance work and manage vendor site access when required.
Ensure all works adhere strictly to current UK Health & Safety guidelines.Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds equivalent in Electrical Installation.
Regulations: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Experience: Proven track record in commercial or multi-site electrical maintenance.
Driving Licence: Valid UK Driver's Licence (essential for regional site travel).
