Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum Summary: Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for an exciting career opportunity? My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of electrical systems and maintenance. Benefits: Standard Holiday Enhanced pension Scheme Health care Overtime available Requirements/Qualifications: Recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance i.e. City & Guilds Level 3. Up to date 18th edition I.E.E. wiring regulations. Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting within a facilities management organisation. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits & schematics. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to electrical maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and provide clear maintenance reports. A valid & full UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this position. Day to Day Duties : Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems. Identifying and repairing reactive electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and maximising equipment efficiency. Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control panels. Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address electrical and mechanical issues. Assisting in the development of maintenance plans and procedures to enhance system performance and safety. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
