The Company

My client is one of the UK’s leading specialist manufacturers, they are a well-established group supplying into the construction sector. With a global market presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the British market; they need to recruit an additional engineer, at their Sherburn-in-Elmet site.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Automated Machinery within Medium to Heavy Engineering
• Understanding of PPM Systems Within Manufacturing

The Role

The company require a multi skilled maintenance engineer, with multi skilled experience, who can work to PPM schedules, working a double day’s shift pattern. The candidate will have a minimum of a time served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and ideally have some PLC knowledge, together with PLC machinery experience. The role is multi-skilled; and the work will be electrical and mechanical with a variety of production process machinery in use, such as hydraulics, 3 phase motors, laminating machinery, metal forming machinery pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and bearings. There will be ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long standing group.
