Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an FMCG manufacturer based in Boston to recruit a Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £51,500 (inc shift allowance)

Hours: 4 on 4 off nights

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day to day maintenance and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Complete fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections of machinery and equipment
• Carry out fault finding, problem solving
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns

Skills and Qualifications of the Maintenance Engineer:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a similar role
• Time served accredited apprentice
• Worked in an FMCG environment
• Electrical / mechanical qualification
