Maintenance Engineer

• Annual Salary: Up to £45,000 
• Location: Frampton on Severn

Our client is looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing site in Frampton on Severn. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all plant and equipment and you will be part of a small, highly skilled engineering team.

• Work cooperatively with the production team and OEM’s/Technical Support to diagnose faults and maintain equipment efficiently.
• Responsible for both planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
• Respond promptly to production needs to maximise uptime according to given priorities.
• Manage the site engineering spares policy in conjunction with engineering teams/contractors.
• Ensure all corrective maintenance is carried out efficiently to minimise downtime and keep relevant Senior Management informed of progress.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements including Health and Safety, Environmental, Hygiene, Food Safety, HACCP, BRC.

• Core Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification from an apprenticeship, registered college or university.
• Strong experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within food or FMCG environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of planned maintenance systems (desirable but not essential).
