Salary -circa £35k plus benefits

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a well-established and forward-thinking company? Our client based in Wellingborough is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of plant equipment, supporting continuous improvement and promoting the highest safety standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on all plant equipment.
Perform building maintenance repairs when required.
Develop and follow a routine maintenance schedule in coordination with the Plant Manager.
Conduct fault finding and repair on a wide range of systems, including electrical control panels and hydraulic systems.
Lead or support improvement projects to enhance plant safety and efficiency.
Adhere to and enforce electrical and mechanical safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in all maintenance operations.
Maintain a clean and organised maintenance area.

Requirements:

Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
18th Edition qualified (essential).
Ability to safely operate scissor and boom lifts.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
Experience with overhead gantry cranes and welding operations is desirable but not essential.
