• Salary: £38000-£48000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business in Port Talbot. The role is focused on planning and performing maintenance duties, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and maintaining detailed reports and records. With an increasing demand for their products, the company is expanding its electrical teams to meet production needs while ensuring engineers maintain an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to any equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Perform fault diagnosis and repair equipment promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with both site and statutory Health & Safety regulations.

Experience

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Must have completed a time-served electrical apprenticeship.
• Experience with PLCs, preferably Siemens.
