Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Day Shifts
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and reliable operation of all plant and equipment. Your responsibilities will span a broad range of maintenance, repair and continuous improvement tasks, all aimed at maximising productivity and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and procedures.
• Review and understand the daily work schedule at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly report any equipment faults or operational issues using the site’s defect reporting system.
• Support the planning and scheduling of future maintenance activities to uphold equipment standards and process capabilities.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of preventative maintenance strategies.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and lubrication of plant and process
• Diagnose and resolve faults across pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and PLC systems.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Proven ability to monitor and optimise the efficiency of plant machinery in line with engineering plans.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
