The Role:
Our client in Wigan is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll maintain machinery, minimise downtime, and support process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapid response to breakdowns

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance

• Diagnose and repair electrical & mechanical faults

• Support engineering projects and upgrades

• Ensure safety and compliance standards are met

Requirements:

• Time-served apprenticeship (min 4 years)

• ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts
