Maintenance Engineer

What You Will Do:

- Perform a 50/50 split of planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding to keep production running smoothly.

- Respond swiftly to machinery breakdowns, minimising production downtime.

- Support proactive maintenance strategies, including regular shop floor walkarounds.

- Assist with new line installations, equipment moves, and layout changes to optimise production efficiency.

- Diagnose and resolve faults on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

- Collaborate with production and technical teams to enhance equipment performance while maintaining accurate maintenance records.

What You Will Bring:

- Time-served or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise.

- A background in high-volume manufacturing or plant environments.

- Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

- Experience with line moves, installations, or factory re-layouts is highly desirable.
