Maintenance Engineer – Clean Environment (Cosmetics/FMCG)

?? £40,000 – £46,000 + Bonus + Paid Overtime

?? Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm rotating shifts

A leading manufacturer of beauty and hygiene products is seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to support its production lines in a fast-paced, clean environment. Based at their Beckenham facility, the site includes high-speed mixing, filling, labelling, and packaging lines.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, labellers, mixers, pumps, and wrapping equipment

• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely across all departments

• Support scheduled PPM and hygiene-related line maintenance

• Log all work completed and suggest ways to improve reliability

• Work alongside production to minimise downtime

What You’ll Need:

• Background in FMCG, packaging, cosmetics, or food environments

• Experience working with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and motors

• Confidence working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting

• Flexible to work rotating shifts and occasional weekend cover
