Maintenance Engineer

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our clients established engineering team working 4 on 4 off days and nights in a high-speed Food/FMCG production environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime across all production equipment, responding swiftly to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response on machinery

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems

• Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operation

• Maintain accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

• Time-served engineer with relevant qualifications Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)

• Strong experience in an FMCG, food, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Confident with mechanical and electrical fault finding

• Ability to work independently on night shifts
