Maintenance Engineer

We are a recruiting for a respected and long-standing manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. As they continue to invest in their people and processes, they are looking to expand our maintenance team with a proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the machinery and facilities. Working closely with our experienced team, you’ll be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, helping to minimise downtime and maintain high production standards.

• Conduct mechanical maintenance on a variety of production machinery.
• Working on a variety of equipment, Drives, Motors etc.
• Perform routine inspections and create maintenance schedules.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive repairs.
• Assist in the upkeep of site facilities and infrastructure.
• Report issues and improvement opportunities to management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ideally Mechanical bias with a basic understanding or appreciation of electrical systems.
• A hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
• Would look at Junior engineer looking to learn and upskill alongside existing team
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable but not essential.
