Maintenance Engineer

This role is for an industrious Multi-Skilled Engineer who has a passion for maintenance and is highly skilled in both mechanical and electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will be confident in their ability to ensure the smooth running of machinery within an FMCG environment in Suffolk.

Description

• Perform routine and unplanned machine maintenance
• Work cross-functionally with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment efficiency
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Identify and troubleshoot machinery problems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in the design and installation of new equipment
• Record and report on maintenance activities
• Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures

SALARY: £52,034

Profile

A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer should have:

• A recognised qualification in Engineering (Minimum Level 3)
• Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems
• PLC System knowledge would be advantageous
• A solid understanding of manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
