Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're hiring a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Biggleswade, working Monday to Friday, Days only, with a competitive salary of £50,000.

The Role:

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production equipment runs efficiently and reliably, minimising downtime and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and site regulations.
  

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineer role, ideally in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
  
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• A proactive and problem-solving approach.
